Awaiting Our Little Princess' Arrival

Time really flies so fast! It seems like only yesterday when I posted about that morning I found out I was pregnant for the 2nd time. Would you believe that in about a month's time, I will be giving birth already? Whew!

I'm just so grateful that this pregnancy (as with my previous one) is a relatively easy one. I haven't had any problems, not even battling with morning sickness. Of course, the only discomfort I have now is a big belly that makes sleeping a little uncomfortable.

Everyone in the family cannot contain their joy and excitement for the arrival of our baby girl. And it's a joy to see that the most excited of all is soon-to-be Kuya, Jarred Andrei! He never fails to kiss my tummy and talk to his baby sister. When he wakes up in the morning, he greets her good morning and before he closes his eyes to sleep at night, he says good night. He's already planning the many different things they'll do together and the things he will teach her.

Our only prayer now is that I will have a safe and easy delivery. The waiting game of 4 weeks will be quick but it will surely feel like forever.

My Son's Love Affair with Nature

Snake Island, Honda Bay, Palawan, June 2006 - This picture says a thousand words...My son's first real vacation and it shows that he had a blast! Last June 23-26, we went to Puerto Princesa, Palawan for our annual family vacation. Our experience goes beyond words. We stayed at a wonderful new French-style villa called La Dolce Vita. We had 3 various tour days - city tour, underground river tour and Honda Bay Islands tour. The picture above was taken at Snake Island as low tide begins. Jarred was planning to sneak up on a group of birds and while doing so, slipped a bit and fell on all fours...which explains the shot of his cute bottoms.
He enjoyed the beach so much that he almost got as dark as coffee. And he refused to get back to the dock at the end of the day. It was such a sight to see him this way...now all we have are the pictures and the memories etched in our minds of this great getaway experience.
